G’day! I’m Josh Janssen. I combine thinking and doing. Strategy and production. Ideas and execution.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked towards understanding the creative process, where I fit in it, and how my teammates, clients and collaborators can get the most out of the work we do.
I’ve had the pleasure of using my skillset in video production, storytelling, community and strategy to help people become better communicators.
I love geeking out in the platforms, the technology and the tools, whilst understanding their context in the framework of connecting with audiences and making an impact.
I’ve spent a lot of time behind the camera. Worked for technology company, Envato, where I produced, filmed and edited a twenty-part video series around the world, filmed A-list celebrities as a Digital Content Producer for a national drive radio show and helped hundreds of clients through my production companies, MediaFlex and Full Stack Films.
I’m a problem solver that loves asking questions and learning.

Tommy Jackett, yes that’s my name. One half of this BIG MEDIA COMPANY.
Chances are you’ll find me with a smile on my face and a camera in my hand. I’m a filmmaker, a podcaster, storyteller, husband and father.
I’ve been immersed in content creation for over 10 years and absolutely love it. Over the last 3 years I’ve been working with brands to help them understand, capture and share their story through video. I’m a craftsman. I shoot, I edit, I understand audience.
Back in 2013 I spent 2 years hosting a breakfast radio show in a town called Shepparton. I learnt a lot about myself, having to create 15 hours of radio per week. The challenge of ideas at scale and the requirement to entertain, inform and evoke emotion consistently, has definitely changed the lens in which I have on the world.
A quick search in google, you’ll see the zeitgeist-y moments I’ve observed and captured over the years that have spread throughout the media. I like to think my sense of curiosity, fun and willingness to put myself out there echoes throughout my work.
